Chapter 13: The Truth Is Painful

 Michael Winters celebrated his birthday

 But so did Jake and Ian.... His brothers.

 Holly caught sight of the three boys waddling across the floor. 
Holly:This can't be! I'm dreaming..... I'm dreaming! THEODORE!

Theo: what?
Holly: WHY DOES MICHAEL LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME AS JAKE AND IAN? How many kids did I have? 

 Theo: This is the moment of truth..... How awkwardly clichéd is this? Sweety..... 

Holly: No.... uh-uh..... Don't 'sweety' me. Tell me what the hell is going on or I swear I will move out AND divorce you!
Theo: Let's not get touchy.....
Holly:NOT GET TOUCHY?! Theo, if those were your two kids that someone gave away or if your kid wasn't yours in the first place, you'd be TOUCHY as well....... 

Theo: Fine.... It's been four weeks...... Look....
Holly: Four weeks for what?
Theo: Just Listen.... You didn't have a kid. It was a stillborn but there were major complications and you were experiencing major hormone imbalances. 
Theo paused long enough for her to absorb the news.....

Holly: What? He's not mine?
Theo: I'm afraid not Hollypie. 
Holly: Then whose is he?
Theo: Heather's
A grimace of shock and disgust took over Holly's face

Holly: Wait.... She would do that? For... me?
Theo: Not to burst your bubble but it was only 'cos she didn't want them......
Holly: I STILL DON'T GET WHY YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!
Theo: Oh yeah..... It was because the Doc said that you would be in depression forever if we told you at that time
Holly: Oh, I see?

Heather: 'EY HOL HOL! THEO! Heather's leaving!
Holly: Bye Heather!
Theo: See ya Heather!

And with that, Heather and Chan moved down the street to a cozy little house where they could raise Ian and Jake. 

Holly felt a flurry of emotion run through her head..... 'It's like whirlwind on steroids' she smiled to herself
Holly: Who's the best boy in the world? You are Mikey! Yeah you are! 
Michael: A-goo! *gurgle*

'I can get used to this......'  Holly thought as Michael playfully tousled her hair.

As she put him on the floor gently, he cried "MAMA" 
Holly: *gasp* Mikey! 
Michael: ma...ma!
Holly: THEO! MIKEY SAID MAMA!

Theo: Really? Okay Mikey, say Papa!
Michael: ................
Theo: C'mon, Pa....Pa
Michael:............

Theo: Oh c'mon! I swear getting you to say BRIEFCASE would be easier
Michael: Bweeef...... Cayth? Bweeeef Caayth?
Theo: Well I'd be darned!

Theo: Who's Papa's baby CEO?
Michael: A-goo! *Shriek*

Potty Training followed eventually.........

And Holly wished Michael could clean up after himself.... But life in the Winters household was pleasant to say the least. 

Soon enough, An attack of sparkles engulfed Michael as he aged up. He went from a bouncy baby into.....

A moody little kid. He contemplated the world through his piercing green eyes as he wondered 
'WHY IS MOM WEARING THAT?' 
Will Holly EVER realise that she's dressed inappropriately? Will Mike be embarrassed? How will Mike cope in school? You know where to come next weekend!
