Chapter 14: Lies, for survival

Theodore Winters decided, the last night, to join the army force and help defend the town. He set off for work at 6 AM after saying goodbye to Michael who would be attending school for the very first time. If only Theodore knew what would happen during school hours........

Michael: What the................?
Ian: Ummmmm, This is really weird...... Hi by the way!

Ian: 'ey Jake, Look at our look-alike
Michael: There's another one! I'm dreaming, yes I am, I'm dreaming..... I'll wake up and all of this will be gone! GONE!

Jake: Hey, I'm Jake, It's pretty cool hey? The way we look the same?
Michael: I'm NOT dreaming, am I? 

Michael: Okay..... WHY DO WE LOOK ALIKE!
Jake: Dude, chill..... breathe in..... breathe out.
Ian: Well, I'm not sure why me and YOU look the same, but Jake and I are twins.... IDENTICAL twins. That usually means we will look alike. Does it not?
Jake: Well Bye, I'm going to go finish marauding and conquering Rylee's castle now.

Michael: Would you like to come over for dinner? I'd like to ask my mom a few questions about this look-alike thing
Ian: Yeah sure..... But I have scouts and I promised Mortimer Goth I'd go over to his. How about I send Jake alone? Is that cool?
Michael: Yeah sure! 'Kay, check ya later!

That night:
Theo: Michael, where have you been?
Jake: I'm not Michael!
Theo: Of course you are.... Michael, don't play games with me.
Jake: Let me tell you this way, My name is Jake Gables NOT Michael Winters! Pretty cool huh?

Theo: Hey Jake! What's good? Oh CRAP! He's here! What'll Holly say?
Jake: *chuckles* It's funny when adults try to be hip!

Michael: Eew! MOM! Go change into something decent! My friend is over for dinner!
Holly: What?
Michael: Pleeeaaase! Go change!

Holly: What exactly do you mean by I MUST CHANGE!? YOU brought your friend over..... WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

Michael: Mom, I'm sorry.... quit bugging out.... You're scaring Jake!
Holly: Jake Gables???? No WAY! It can't be.... Michael was never meant to find out.... They were supposed to be in boarding school! 
Michael: Yeah, but does it matter which Jake it is? 
Holly: No..... of course not...... Jake Gables must get going now! His parents will be..... worried

Holly: Jake Gables....... please go home
Jake: You can call me Jake...... May I ask why there's a picture of you and my mom on the mantelpiece?
Holly: Psssh! That can't be your mom...... It's not.... No..... Now get going sweetie, It's dark.
Jake: Bye! 

Michael: Jake's mom's photo? That's Aunt Holly..... It can't be his mom. Mom told me she died two years ago. But then again, there must be something more between me and Jake... and Ian if she was to bug out on me about JAKE GABLES. She's never been so furious before. 

Michael:What could it be though, I think I can find out more at my birthday party next week. I should ask the WHOLE family to come BUT: I'll tell mom that FRIENDS are coming over, not Jake and Ian Gables.I think it could work!

Holly: Mikey! Dinner is ready.......Oh, would you stop sulking! You have other friends!
Michael: Yes mom.....Just agree, she won't say anything if you agree I know, I'm coming..... What a mood-swing she had. Women, I tell you!
